About Us
ACE Automation is a company founded with the mission of streamlining the design through construction process of creating buildings. ACE is pioneering the development and use of robotic systems for manufacturing building. We are creating the link between BIM (Building Information Modeling) and high-speed manufacturing.
At ACE buildings are manufactured in large subsections in a controlled environment. These large sections of the building are then transported to the site where they are quickly and seamlessly locked together in place. We have developed a series of smart MEP and Structural connectors used to quickly connect the Structural and MEP systems in a building together.
Contrast with the current method of construction where raw materials are brought to the building site, processed into finished materials, and then installed using subpar tools that are designed primarily for mobility, ACE uses powerful automated equipment in a controlled factory environment. This dramatically reduces construction time while increasing the quality of the building.
Through the use of automation technology ACE eliminates much of the waste that is a direct result of the current construction methods used. Everything from subcontractor delays, to labor shortages, unpredictable labor force, dangerous jobsite conditions, design errors, unreliable quality, weather, staging, onsite material storage, waste removal, cost overruns etc. ACE Automation is changing the game on how buildings are constructed.
Our Team
Peter Mueller
Founder
Peter Mueller was born in the US but grew up in Germany. From a young age Peter was fascinated with engineering and architecture. As a young boy he was known for the very detailed elaborate model buildings he would construct. Peter gained broad technical knowledge and hands on experience in all aspects of the building industry. At the age of 20 Peter Mueller received his general contractor license in California. Early on Peter’s approach of designing fully realistic 3d building models was key in his building process, enabling the seamless integration of all mechanical and structural systems. This approach avoided costly project delays and enhanced the overall design. In 2013 Peter begun work on a new venture, engineering and manufacturing personnel safety equipment. During this period Peter traveled abroad working closely with contract manufacturers in Asia and Europe. Throughout this period, he gained valuable experience in manufacturing technology, system.
Sean Mueller
Systems Engineer
Sean has worked as a project manager developing and building high-end homes in the Napa Valley area. He is known for his attention to detail, and thorough execution of projects. His experience in managing teams and effectively communicating a positive vision have been integral in creating a highly effective workforce. Sean also has technical experience in each area of product development of mechanical components. His skills in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, 3d Printing, and machining allow him to seamlessly move from design to analysis to prototyping through to testing. His work on previous projects has greatly reduced the product development cycle. Sean is very focused on seeing every project through, from start to completion.
